Domestic Airlinesndalay Limited is a private joint venture company that was incorporated on 6th October 1994 to operate as Myanmar’s first privately owned airline and support the country’s tourism industry. The airline, based in Yangon, has since established itself as a carrier of high standards with a wide domestic network and one regional link, to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. It operates to all of Myanmar’s main tourist destinations and commercial hubs. The airline also offers air charter services to destinations both within the country and regionally. Due to the growth of tourism and business investment in Myanmar, air transportation has become an increasingly important contributor to both the nation’s economic growth and its infrastructure development. The country is looking to position itself as a major tourism destination capable of handling an increasing number of foreign visitors and the airline industry will play a vital role in achieving this.

Aisa Wing Airways
Asian Wings, having been incorporated since 17 September, 2010, as a private airline based in Yangon International Airport – successfully inaugurated on 27 January, 2011. Asian Wings currently offers regular flights to all major tourist destinations in Myanmar, such as: Yangon, Mandalay, Nyaung U (Bagan), Heho, Kyaing Tong, Tachileik, Lashio, Monywa, Homalin, Thandwe, Myeik, Dawei and Kawthaung. Yangon Airways was established in October 1996 as a domestic airline in a joint venture between Myanma Airways, the state-owned national airline and Krong-Sombat Co., of Thailand. In October 1997, MHE-Mayflower Co., acquired Krong-Sombat’s shares in Yangon Airways and since then the airline has evolved into a principal domestic airline operating scheduled and charter services from Yangon to 13prime commercial and tourist destinations in Myanmar.
Golden Myanmar Airline
Golden Myanmar Airlines is Myanmar’s first domestic and international low cost carrier established in August 2012.It was formed by 15 major investors including chairmen of CB Bank and Myanmar Golden Star.The airline will launch in January with two Airbus A320s and plans to add a new aircraft to its fleet every six months.
Mann Yadanarpon Airline
Mann Yadanarpon Airlines (MYP) was incorporated as a private limited liability company on July 23, 2013.Mann Yadanarpon Airlines is the first airline in Myanmar to base its operations at Mandalay International Airport. MYP’s pilots are all qualified on ATR 72-212 and ATR 72-500 aircraft types. MYP’s current flight crew consists of two ATR 72-600-qualified rating instructors hired from ATR undertaking line training for MYP’s pilots until they are qualified for aircraft type rating on the ATR 72-600 before flying scheduled passenger flights
